Dr. Thomas A Corrigan, D.P.M.

Dr. Tom Corrigan is the founder and principle physician at The Corrigan Podiatry Group. He and his wife Debbie, a nurse at The Cleveland Clinic, worked side by side to establish a thriving practice in Westlake. The office is located 2 miles from where Dr. Corrigan grew up with his parents Tom and Rose and his brother Tim. He was fortunate enough to attend St. Ignatius High School and John Carroll University, where he was able to pursue his dream of becoming a physician (a decision he made at the age of 7).

Dr. Corrigan was abruptly introduced to the field of podiatry after a fluke rugby injury to his left foot. He was so impressed with skills of the podiatrist, that he began touring prominent podiatric physicians’ offices and made the decision to apply to The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. After medical school Dr. Corrigan was able to secure a prestigious surgical residency at University Hospitals. The training was extensive in routine and traumatic surgical techniques, diabetic wound care, orthotic/shoegear research, and hands on sports medicine. Dr. Corrigan is a board qualified foot surgeon who is currently on staff at The Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital Systems.

Dr. Corrigan enjoys golf and skiing with his family! He further derives a great deal of satisfaction from the time he spends at the Free Clinic program he was fortunate enough to initiate on Cleveland’s near west side. Dr. Corrigan has been published nationally and has participated in two federally funded research projects.

Thank you for your interest in Dr. Corrigan and the staff of Corrigan Podiatry. We look forward to assisting you with any questions you may have about podiatry or specific problem you or a loved one may have.
